We urge all racers to find a sponsor to help eliminate or defray the costs associated with purchasing a brand new derby car.

If you are trying to save some REAL money, we urge you to contact the local derby director to see if there are car kits available BEFORE purchasing a new kit from AASBD. The number of cars is limited, so contact us early!

There may be cars from past racers who have “grown up” (are to old to race) and are wanting to sell their cars.

Also, many sponsors have donated their cars to the Southern Colorado Soap Box Derby and have asked the association to find drivers. Please fill out the contact form below and let us know how we can help you!

The Southern Colorado Soap Box Derby is a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and relies solely on the support of its sponsors And volunteers throughout the year, to help pay for costs associated with running the organization. If you have a great idea on how the association can raise money, please drop us a line.

Car Sponsors:
Companies in this category may sponsor an individual racer. They can choose to support a child on various levels from monetary donations for race entry fees, to underwriting the entire purchase price for the racer. The success of the Southern Colorado Soap Box Derby could not be made possible without the help and support of our board members and volunteers. We embrace and welcome those who would like to jump in and help with all that makes these events possible. This is critical to insure the longevity and traditions of Soap Box Derby racing.
